This page is my attempt at a thorough and current (as of 2023) BetUS review.

It covers everything from basic facts about the site to promotional offers, games, and customer service.

The BetUS Basics

BetUS is an online gambling site that’s been in business for nearly thirty years. The site is mainly a sportsbook and racebook with casino games along for the ride.

Click here to access the BetUS website.

BetUS accepts customers from all 50 US states, as long as they are of legal gambling age in their state. In the United States, this generally means 18 years old or older.

Right now, BetUS offers new customers a 125% sign-up bonus with a max of $3,125. I cover this offer in more detail below.

And no BetUS review would be complete without mentioning that the site holds a gaming license from the Curacao Gaming Commission.

BetUS Bonuses & Promotions

Here are the latest bonus offers available to BetUS customers:

BetUS Sign-Up Bonus

The $125 sign-up bonus offer is split between casino and sportsbook play.

Broken down, it works like this:

You get a 100% bonus at the sportsbook capped at $2,500. There’s a 10x bonus plus deposit rollover requirement. The minimum amount to trigger the bonus is $100.

To claim the $100 in bonus money available from that minimum deposit, you’d need to place a total of $2,000 in eligible bets. Put another way, you’ll earn $1 in bonus cash for every $20 you bet.

The other 25% comes from a casino bonus. You can earn a 25% match up to $625. The rollover is 30x the deposit plus bonus. The minimum is $100. That means you’re earning one bonus dollar for every $60 you wager.

BetUS Reload Bonus

Crypto customers depositing to their sportsbook account can take a 100% bonus on their second and third deposits.

This bonus is capped at $2,500 with a minimum deposit of $100. The rollover is 10x the deposit plus bonus. It’s basically an extension of the sign-up bonus.

Be aware that it’s only good for the second and third deposit. I’m not sure what happens after that. You probably get a decent offer at that point for your loyalty.

BetUS Referral Bonus

You can earn a bonus payout on the first 3 deposits of customers you refer to BetUS.

It’s a 100% match bonus worth up to $2,000. It’s broken into two bonuses, a 50% match on sportsbook bets capped at $1,000, and a 50% match on casino bets capped at $1,000.

The sportsbook bonus has a really low rollover – just 3x deposit plus bonus. You’re earning a bonus dollar for every six bucks you bet.

The casino referral bonus has the same 30x rollover rate as the sign-up bonus.

BetUS Deposits & Withdrawals

BetUS accepts deposits via credit card, cash transfer, cryptocurrency, and bank wire.

The credit cards listed on the site are VISA, MasterCard, and American Express.

The site says to contact customer support (1-888-51BetUS) for more details on the cash transfer method.

The crypto methods accepted are:

  • Bitcoin (BTC)
  • Bitcoin cash (BCH)
  • Litecoin (LTC)
  • Ethereum (ETH)

The withdrawal methods used by the site are cryptocurrency (the same methods listed above), credit cards, and check-by-mail or check-by-courier. Withdrawals are capped at $5,000 per day. There’s a fee for making a withdrawal via check or credit card.

BetUS Review: Sportsbook Features

Everything today’s sports bettors want is available at BetUS. The site offers live betting on a large number of games, a wide range of game props, and futures markets for all the major sports.

BetUS has every market you could want to bet on and then some. On the day of this review, I counted 23 available markets. This included all the usual big-name sports along with things like snooker, volleyball, politics, and darts.

In the novelty section, you can bet on whether or not Elon Musk will complete his takeover of Twitter by the end of the year. Right now, Yes is the favorite, listed at -110. I could also bet on who will be the next sponsor of the Super Bowl. The money is on YouTube or Spotify, both listed at +225.

BetUS Review: Casino Features

The casino games aren’t the big draw at BetUS. That’s obvious from looking at the bonuses and promotions page, which clearly favors sports bettors. Particularly if those sports bettors want to use cryptocurrency to move their funds around.

BetUS has a decent collection of library games. It’s at least as good as other US-facing online casino sites.

I counted 264 different slots one the day of this review. Most of their games come from a company called Digital Gaming Solutions, though they also have five dozen relatively new slot games made by Nucleus.

The site’s collection of 12 real money blackjack variants is a nice surprise. You can choose from single-deck, multi-hand, and a few other variants. Too many US-facing casinos underserve the blackjack-loving population.

Fans of casino game tournaments will enjoy the tournaments section of the BetUS game library. Most of the tournaments are slot tourneys. You get a certain amount of cash to spend playing a specific game, and the player with the best total at the end of a set amount of time wins the prize. Tournaments for other games are sometimes available, but not at the time of this review.

One area where BetUS is sorely lacking – video poker game variants. The site has just a half-dozen of the most common games, like Jacks or Better and Deuces Wild. Video poker players look for variety and decent pay tables. The site clearly doesn’t prioritize this kind of player.

I’d also like to see more variety available in the live dealer section. At the time of my visit, I could only choose from 4 games – blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and Super6. A few years ago, having 4 live dealer games available may have been acceptable. It’s just not enough now.

BetUS Review: Contests

BetUS runs contests for both sportsbook and casino customers.

These are a lot like tournaments and contests held live at brick and mortar sportsbooks and casinos.

They even have free-to-enter contests.

At the time of this review, sports bettors had two contests designed for them:

  • Parlay Challenge – a $5 or $10 bet that could result in a win of hundreds of dollars. The bet involves picking the winners of a certain number of contests. Pot values go up as more people participate.
  • Betting Squares – a traditional “squares” style bet. This one is mostly based on NFL games.

Some of the free contests can be used as sweeteners for the sports betting you were going to do anyway. For example, the Team Backer bonus contest. Fans pick a team and earn points every time they place an eligible bet on them. Those points are then redeemed at the end of each year for free bets during the World Series, Super Bowl, or NBA Finals.

BetUS Mobile Compatibility

BetUS doesn’t have a dedicated app for your phone or tablet. Instead, they’ve designed the website to be friendly to tablet and phone displays. That means you can access the entire site through the Web browser on your favorite handheld device.

This means you can bet from anything that has Internet access.

You won’t need to download an app and take up storage space on your phone or your iPad or whatever, which is nice.

Because the website is constantly updated by BetUS, you won’t need to worry about updating your software or being out of date.

I tested BetUS on two different tablets and two different smartphones and had no issues navigating the site.

BetUS Review Conclusion

BetUS is coming up on its 30th birthday. That kind of longevity is rare in this business. It lends them a lot of credibility.

To sum up this BetUS review, It feels like they need to add more financial options if they really hope to expand their customer base. I also think their casino game selection is lacking. Offering just six video poker variants is a weak move, for example.

At the same time, some of their bonuses are achievable and potentially valuable. They have a great sportsbook and racebook that are at least as interesting as the big boys in the business.

US customers looking to place bets on sports, horse races, and casino games should check out BetUS as a potential option. They’re US-friendly and their customer service options are excellent.
